the Gypsy group

 

COMPAS is a group of four musicians originally from Nîmes, on the edge of the Camargue.

We are often suspicious, with justification, of brothers, friends, of nephews etc. whose principle quality is to share a famous name. Not with these virtuoses!

Cousins and friends of the famous famillies Baliardo (Manitas de Plata) and Reyes (Gipsy Kings), COMPAS units all the qualities needed to pass a memorable evening. 

After having made his first appearences accompaning  his grandfather Manitas de Plata, his father Manero - eldest son of Manitas, not forgetting his uncles, from whom he learnt so much, that Fabricio de Plata formed the group Compas in 2004; he became the leader vocalst/guitare.

In 2009 his son Nicolas, known as Nico, aged just  16 years old, became the indisputible soloist of the  group; a frightening dexterity to his finger tips,  acclaimed by all including for example, Kema (soloist of the group Chico & The Gypsies). 

Over the years Compas has appeared nearly everywhere creating enormous enthousiasm thanks to their authenticity, their genérosity and application, that they bring to each concert. And of course their enormous  talent!

The bar will be open for the sale of drinks before the performance and during the interval.

The price of a ticket is 15€ for all (7€ for under 12s).  The ticket office will open on 1st March at 10h.

Please purchase your tickets by internet if at all possible. Places are seated, but not numbered
